At tonight’s special edition of WWE Holiday Live (December 26) at New York City’s Madison Square Garden, WWE star Omos appeared.
After having been absent from television since SummerSlam in August, a WWE star was featured in a big moment at the hotly anticipated live event.
Omos and MVP appeared, issuing an open challenge to the roster.
The open challenge was answered by R-Truth who ended up being effectively squashed by Omos in the bout.
While Omos may have been absent from tv for the last four months, he has continued to appear in WWE house shows.
Omos has faced Johnny Gargano twice and Akira Tozawa eight times since SummerSlam apart of WWE house shows despite not featuring on tv.
Elsewhere at Holiday Live at Madison Square Garden, the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Katana Chance and Kayden Carter successfully defended their titles against former champs Piper Niven and Chelsea Green.
Still left to come in New York City, the return of Sami Zayn, Cody Rhodes taking on Shinsuke Nakamura in a Bull Rope match and CM Punk’s first WWE match in nearly 10 years.
CM Punk will be taking on ‘Dirty’ Dominik Mysterio at Madison Square Garden, marking his return match to the company.
