NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion Giulia has seen interest from the WWE although claims that she “has things to do in Japan”.
One of those things will not involve the stable Donna Del Mondo in Stardom that she founded in 2020.
Giulia announced that the group is disbanding at STARDOM Ittenyon Stardom Gate on January 4, 2024.
In footage shared from the show on Twitter, Giulia gave an arrivederci after naming every member of the group over the years.
Footage from the moment can be seen below this news story and sees Thekla, Mai Sakurai and Maika join Giulia in the ring.
Other members of Donna Del Mondo were Syuri, Himeka, Natsupoi and Mirai.
With WWE reportedly interested in Giulia, the Donna Del Mondo stable disbanding has fuelled speculation that she will join WWE when her STARDOM deal is up.
With previous reports indicating that a WWE offer is on the table for the current NJPW champion, it was recently reported that she will ‘likely’ join WWE in 2024.
Giulia has recently commented on reports of WWE’s interest in her, which you can read more about right here.
It’s already been quite a day for wrestlers who have the attention of WWE, with Tama Tonga also announcing that January will be his last month with NJPW.
Giulia did the Donna del Modno ending phrase one last time and mentioned every single member including the ones who left
