Former WWE Champion and top Raw star CM Punk has hilariously reacted to the massive WWE Raw Netflix deal following the announcement.
On January 23, WWE announced their brand new TV home will be Netflix as Raw will stream exclusively on the service starting in January 2025.
The agreement has an initial 10-year term and is worth in excess of $5 billion with an option for Netflix to extend for an additional 10 years and to opt out after the initial five years.
Responding to the WWE Raw Netflix deal, CM Punk took to his Instagram story to post a hilarious meme referencing Raw’s new home.
Punk posted a meme that simply reads, “Netflix and Phil,” referring to the famous “Netflix & Chill” saying and his real first name of Phil.
The former WWE Champion is one of the top stars on the Raw brand since his return to the company at Survivor Series 2023.
CM Punk will compete in the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble match at the titular event this Saturday, January 27.
