The next WWE appearance for Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson following his recent heel turn has been officially announced.
The Rock has made multiple appearances for WWE since his return back on February 2 on the road to WrestleMania 40.
The Rock officially turned heel at the WrestleMania Kickoff press event in Las Vegas, cutting his first promo as a heel in over 20 years on the February 16.
Following the promo, WWE has now announced that The Rock will return to WWE television on the March 1 episode of SmackDown in Glendale, Arizona.
WWE used a graphic of Rock in the Bloodline to advertise his upcoming appearance, though it has not been specified whether Roman Reigns will also be appearing on the show as well as The Rock.
Triple H has said that The Rock will not be appearing at tomorrow’s WWE Elimination Chamber event in Perth, Australia.
Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins, who have had issues with Reigns and The Rock, will appear on the Grayson Waller Effect on tomorrow’s show.
