AEW EVP Kenny Omega has reacted to the Young Bucks kicking him out of The Elite, and inviting Kazuchika Okada into the faction.
Matthew and Nicholas Jackson made big announcements regarding the Elite faction on this week’s (March 6) edition of Dynamite, suspending Hangman Page indefinitely and firing Kenny Omega.
The Bucks apologised to Omega for the fact that he was finding out on live TV, but noted that Omega hasn’t been making appearances for some reason.
Later on in the segment, Kazuchika Okada helped Matthew and Nicholas to beat down Eddie Kingston, aligning himself with the Elite.
Omega has now reacted to all of this, taking to social media to share an image of the ‘unimpressed’ Kenny Omega meme face.

Okada was notably a big rival for Kenny Omega in NJPW, with the duo wrestling four critically acclaimed singles matches between 2017-2018.
The duo most recently shared the ring as allies, with Omega and Okada defeating Aaron Henare & Jeff Cobb at NJPW New Year Dash 2023.
The AEW EVP last wrestled on December 5, 2023, defeating Ethan Page in singles action at a Collision taping. Omega took to social media so share a photo of himself in a hospital bed on December 15, noting that he’d be out of action indefinitely.
It was later confirmed that Omega had been suffering from diverticulitis,
It’s currently unclear when Omega will be able to return to the ring. For the latest update on Omega’s AEW status click here.
