Former WWE star Nic Nemeth (fka Dolph Ziggler) is set to compete in a huge championship match at TNA Wrestling’s Rebellion pay-per-view.
Nemeth will compete in his first world title match since his WWE exit in September 2023, challenging for Moose’s TNA World Championship at the April 20 event.
The former ‘Dolph Ziggler’ notably made his TNA Wrestling debut at January’s Hard To Kill pay-per-view, attacking Moose following his world title win.
TNA Wrestling shared the following preview for the bout:
With Moose leading the charge as World Champion, The System have been running roughshod over TNA Wrestling since their formation at Hard To Kill. But it was on the very same night in Las Vegas that a disruptor by the name of Nic Nemeth arrived on the scene, delivering a superkick to Moose and sending shockwaves throughout the wrestling world.
After vanquishing Steve Maclin at Sacrifice, Nemeth set his sights on adding yet another championship milestone to his long list of accolades – but The System got to him first.
As Nemeth and Speedball Mountain celebrated a victory, they were jumped by Moose and TNA World Tag Team Champions Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards, who sent a physical message to the “Wanted Man”.
We can now confirm that at Rebellion, Nic Nemeth will challenge Moose for the TNA World Championship in a blockbuster first-time-ever showdown.
TNA Wrestling presents Rebellion LIVE April 20th on pay-per-view from the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. Tickets are on-sale now at Ticketmaster.com.
Nemeth currently holds NJPW’s IWGP Global Championship, which he won from David Finlay at February’s New Beginning in Sapporo show.
Nic Nemeth recently named an AEW star he wants to face, which you can read more about right here.
BREAKING: Following the conclusion of #TNAiMPACT, @milanmiracle has made it OFFICIAL – @TheMooseNation will defend the TNA World Championship against @NicTNemeth at #Rebellion on April 20 LIVE on PPV and TNA+ from the Palms in Las Vegas.
