A WWE star has called his shot for the Intercontinental Championship after WrestleMania 40 after winning a major match.
On tonight’s WWE SmackDown, Big Bronson Reed won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
In an online exclusive shared by WWE, Big Bronson Reed informed Byron Saxton that he has his eyes set on the Intercontinental Championship.
While Big Bronson Reed has been recently feuding with Sami Zayn, there was also involvement from Zayn’s WrestleMania opponent, GUNTHER.
Either way, Big Bronson Reed is prepared to chase gold as he noted that the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal win tonight was only the start of the great things to come from him.
Elsewhere on tonight’s WWE SmackDown, Zelina Vega was beaten by Elektra Lopez in a match but there would be a happy ending to Vega’s night.
Despite making an appearance accompanying Dominik Mysterio and Santos Escobar, by the end of the segment Andrade el Idolo had reunited with Zelina Vega and Rey Mysterio.
He will now team with Rey to take on Dominik Mysterio and Santos Escobar at WrestleMania 40 Saturday, April 6.
