AEW star and Cody Rhodes’ real life brother Dustin Rhodes has reacted to Cody’s title win at WWE WrestleMania 40.
Despite being spotted in attendance at WrestleMania 40, Dustin was not featured on camera during the show.
After the show was over, he sent a congratulatory message to his brother on Twitter in lieu of making an appearance as part of the on-screen celebrations.
Dustin Rhodes wrote:
“I love you brother!
“Now YOUR story begins!! Congrats Champ!!”
AEW’s Ricky Starks was also spotted with Dustin.
Cody’s Mom Michelle, sister Teil and wife Brandi were all in the ring after his big win where Cody was able to hand the WWE title belt to his mom.
He finished that story!
As noted by Dustin, now Cody’s own story begins as Monday Night Raw airs live tomorrow night on the USA Network.
Surely set to feature both new WWE Champions on the Raw brand, Cody Rhodes won the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania, whereas both Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest ended up winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tonight.
