A WWE star has teased himself as an entrant in the upcoming King of the Ring tournament, following confirmation that the event is returning.
Following reports about King and Queen of the Ring tournaments taking place next month, WWE has now confirmed that the tournaments will take place live in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on May 25, with the May 24 edition of SmackDown also set to air from Saudi Arabia.
Raw star Ivar has now reacted to this announcement, hinting that he’s interested in competing in the King of the Ring tournament.
Sharing WWE’s announcement video on Twitter, Ivar wrote:

The most recent King of the Ring tournament took place in 2021, with Xavier Woods defeating Finn Balor in the tournament finals at the October 2021 Crown Jewel premium live event.
At the same event, Zelina Vega defeated Piper Niven (Doudrop) to win the Queen’s Crown tournament.
Ivar has been wrestling in the singles division while his Viking Raiders tag partner Erik has been recovering from neck fusion surgery he had in November 2023.
He was most recently in action on Friday’s (April 5) edition of SmackDown, competing in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
This year’s battle royal was won by Bronson Reed, who has now teased a championship feud.
