A WWE star has commented for the first time after turning heel off the back of a title change during WrestleMania weekend.
Hours before night one of WrestleMania 40, NXT Stand & Deliver took place and played host to Roxanne Perez winning the NXT Women’s Championship from Lyra Valkryia.
To follow up, Perez appeared at the start of last night’s April 9 NXT, and Valkyria came out saying she wanted a rematch.
Valkyria was then joined by Tatum Paxley, who has spent recent months being something of an obsessed friend of Valkyria.
However, Paxley turned heel by attacking Valkyria at ringside, taking her out of contention for the title rematch that she wanted.
Paxley has now commented on social media after the turn, tweeting:
“It’s not yours anymore” and “It doesn’t belong to you anymore”
Perez did end up defending the title last night, but not against Valkyria or Paxley, but instead, Natalya.
Earlier in the night, Perez said that she was joining Raw or SmackDown in the upcoming WWE Draft.
The Draft takes place on April 26 and April 29.
