WWE President Nick Khan has provided the latest update on the location of WrestleMania 41 following this year’s event.
WrestleMania 40 is now officially in the books, but in a rather surprising move, WWE has still yet to announce the location for next year’s event.
The location of the following year’s WrestleMania was typically announced several weeks before the event, with WWE running an advert for next year’s show during the event itself, so this comes as a big change from previous years.
It had previously been reported that Minneapolis was in the running to host the show, and WWE President Nick Khan has provided an update on the potential location of the show.
Speaking at the SBJ World Congress of Sports (via Arash Markazi), Khan noted that it is assumed that the event won’t take place in an outdoor East Coast stadium again.
Khan also confirmed that the event won’t go head-to-head with the NCAA Final Four.
He also confirmed that Las Vegas was one of the cities currently in the running to be the host of the event.
Philadelphia hosting WrestleMania XL was the last announced WrestleMania location before Khan had joined the company.
WWE president Nick Khan wasn’t ready to announce the location of WrestleMania in 2025 just yet but he said you can assume it won’t be in an outdoor East coast stadium again and it won’t go head-to-head with the Final Four again. Las Vegas is one of the cities under consideration.
