A big name new WWE signing is expected to make their official debut for the company this week and become a regular on television.
It was reported over WrestleMania 40 weekend that former MLW Champion Jacob Fatu had signed with the company.
Fatu is a member of the Anoa’i Family, and has long been speculated as a member of the Bloodline faction, which has undergone a major shakeup since WrestleMania.
On the SmackDown after WrestleMania, Solo Sikoa removed Jimmy Uso from the group, replacing him with the debuting Tama Tonga, who may not be the only new addition to the group.
Per PWInsider Elite (via WrestlingNews.co), the expectation within the company is that Fatu will debut on WWE television within the next week.
The belief among those within the company in creative circles is that Fatu’s debut could happen as early as this week’s episode of SmackDown in Cincinatti, and that he would be a regular on the main roster going forward.
