WWE Money in the Bank will see Oba Femi face Bronson Reed, with their match confirmed on last night’s episode of Raw.
Oba Femi’s issues with The Vision have seen him come face to face with Bron Breakker in the ring, being left on his back after a concerted attack, and very much aware that the faction are not just going to go away.
The September 28 episode of WWE Raw saw Femi address the situation with The Vision, calling out Bronson Reed, a star who has largely been absent during the two-time NXT Champion’s rise to dominance on the main roster.
With Money in the Bank likely to be the next stage in Femi’s feud with The Vision, there are options for the future:
Bron Breakker
Regardless of the outcome of Money in the Bank, a rematch against Bron Breakker has to be Oba Femi’s future, particularly given that their first match ended with a DQ victory thanks to the returning Bronson Reed.
Paul Heyman has made it clear that Breakker wasn’t able to get the job done when it comes to Femi, with the veteran mastermind noting that the opponent was “still breathing”.
A match that was pitched as determining “the future of WWE”, it’s only a matter of time before Breakker and Femi go at it once again.
The Cracks In The Vision
If Reed gets the job done against Femi at Money in the Bank, there’s every possibility that the victory will rock the boat when it comes to the confidence of Breakker.
Bronson Reed, very much like Breakker, clearly has a bright future in WWE and the idea of a “fight forever” feud between both men and Oba Femi will no doubt get many fans salivating.
Reed outside of The Vision is as much a threat as he is within its ranks, and the same can very much be said for Breakker.
A World Champion in the Making
Oba Femi has world champion written all over him, something that is also true of Breakker and Reed. That’s partially what makes the current feud so interesting to witness: three stars who could be the main players in WWE colliding, instead of being on separate paths that will cross at a much later date.
Of the three, Femi stands on his own, without the weight of faction alliances to hold him back, yet Breakker and Reed could play a part in holding the star back. At some point, avarice will probably be the undoing of both members of The Vision, assuming hubris doesn’t get there first.
Omos
And then there’s Omos.
Over in AAA, Omos has been an unrelenting force and crossed paths with Oba Femi at WWE Worlds Collide on September 26.
It would be Omos who would be sent over the top rope, with the gargantuan star fuming and being held back.
Omos vs. Oba Femi is a match that has to happen, and AAA would be the perfect location for that to take place, testing the Raw star’s crossover popularity in Mexico.
The Future of WWE
A two-time NXT Champion, a former North American Champion, and this year’s King of the Ring, Oba Femi has achieved a lot as the first WWE NIL signing to arrive on the main roster. On top of the accolades, he was the star who would retire Brock Lesnar, being described as “the future” by the veteran star.
Bron Breakker may not have had that endorsement from Lesnar, but it is something that is clearly seen in the star who saw Paul Heyman assigned to him as a mentor by Triple H. A two-time NXT Champion and former NXT Tag Team Champion, Breakker’s main roster run has seen him as a two-time Intercontinental Champion and currently one-half of the World Tag Team Champions with Austin Theory.
For Bronson Reed, his previous run in WWE saw him as NXT North American Champion, with his return in 2022 locking him into a feud with The Bloodline, and Roman Reigns in particular. It’s unlikely that creative and higher-ups are going to use Reed in the way they have if they don’t have a vision for him, something that is also true of the Breakker and Femi.
