Winner of Oba Femi vs Bronson Reed at WWE Money in the Bank 2026: Who will prevail in this clash of titans?

A new match has been made for the WWE Money in the Bank premium live event, with Oba Femi set to take on Bronson Reed.

The Vision has been a thorn in Femi’s side since SummerSlam, with The Ruler facing off against Bron Breakker at Sunday Night’s Main Event on September 6.

After 13 minutes of action, Bronson Reed made his WWE return after seven months away, attacking Oba Femi with a steel chair to cause the disqualification.

With Femi having run-ins with Reed and The Vision on recent episodes of Raw, Femi vs Reed was confirmed for Money in the Bank on September 28, with the stars signing a contract to make their match official.

Both men are in interesting stages of their current runs, with arguably neither in the position to lose.

Following the match announcement, fans have been asking, who will win on October 10?

Oba Femi to reign supreme?

With how hard WWE has been pushing Oba Femi since his main roster debut, it makes sense that many consider The Ruler to be the favorite heading into this encounter.

Following Femi’s impressive first main roster appearance in the Royal Rumble match, the former NXT Champion went on to have a series of matches with Brock Lesnar, which he won, two victories to one defeat.

In the midst of this rivalry, Femi also won the King of the Ring tournament, defeating Jey Uso in the finals at Night of Champions.

With Femi also issuing a challenge to World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns during the WrestleMania 42 post-show, that’s a spinning plate which many are watching.

If Oba Femi is to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 43 as rumors suggest, WWE would likely want to make The Ruler look as dominant as ever ahead of the Mania season.

Because of this, it’d make sense to see Femi finish 2026 on a high, concluding his rookie year on the main roster with a flourish.

A win over Bronson Reed would make Femi look like an even more credible threat to the OTC’s title reign, with Reed currently 1-1 in his series with the Tribal Chief.

Bronson Reed to dethrone The Ruler?

While many believe Oba Femi is the obvious choice to win at Money in the Bank, there is also a good chance that we see Bronson Reed stand tall.

Bronson Reed was in the midst of a dominant WWE run prior to his injury, having beaten down Roman Reigns to write the OTC off TV following their match at Clash In Paris 2025, and defeating Reigns in their Australian Street Fight at Crown Jewel two months later.

Reed suffered a torn bicep while facing Jey Uso and The Original El Grande Americano on the February 23 Raw episode, in an Elimination Chamber qualifier he was reportedly set to win.

Since Sunday Night’s Main Event, Reed has competed in two non-televised dark matches, but has yet to wrestle on TV. WWE is clearly conscious about how Reed will be presented in his first televised match, which will likely be his upcoming clash with Oba Femi.

While The Ruler needs to look strong, it’s Bronson Reed who’d arguably suffer the most from a loss, having not been present on WWE TV for much of 2026. While Femi had the opportunity to win the King of the Ring tournament and retire Brock Lesnar, Reed had to watch from the sidelines, unable to show the world what he’s capable of.

With The Vision in his corner, we could see Bronson Reed pick up the victory, and albeit not clean, leading to a series of matches between Reed and Femi.

A win would also allow Reed to reignite his feud with Roman Reigns, as he could challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship ahead of WrestleMania 43 season.

Overall, Oba Femi vs Bronson Reed will be a clash of two heavyweight titans, and it will be interesting to see in which direction WWE takes the story.
