It was a big night on AEW Dynamite (December 14) with MJF putting his recently won AEW World Championship on the line against Ricky Starks.
While MJF ultimately was able to defeat Starks to retain his AEW World title and his beloved ‘Triple B belt’ (which he has advised stands for the ‘big Burberry belt’) the night didn’t send smoothly.
While attempting to exit the ramp after his victory, MJF was confronted by a returning star.
Bryan Danielson emerged (through the ‘heel’ tunnel as many fans noticed) to stare down MJF who wasted no time before fleeing the scene.
While MJF scurried up the arena stairs and narrowly escaped assault by Danielson.
Once with the safety of an arena between them he held up his AEW title in apparent acceptance of Danielson or possibly just triumph. We’ll let it play out.
In other news from tonight’s December 14th edition of AEW Dynamite, it might as well be fully declared Action Andretti’s night.
After being plucked from relative obscurity and beginning the night to a chorus of ‘Let’s Go Jobber!’ chants from the crowd, not only did Andretti beat Chris Jericho, he was later announced as officially All Elite.
