8. Tomohiro Ishii vs. Samoa Joe

This is where the action would get intense. When you look at Ishii’s measurements on paper they don’t seem that impressive. He is 5’7’’ and weighs in at 220lb (just 15lbs shy of qualifying for 205 Live). However, when you see him in the ring he is one of the most hard-hitting, scary performers in wrestling today. He is a brutal-striker who enjoys beating the living daylights out of his opponents with chop after chop after chop.

Shinsuke Nakamura actually helped bring Ishii to prominence in the CHAOS faction and since his prominence, Ishii has been a solid-hand who will produce intense matches with opponents of any shape and size.

Samoa Joe is the man that should go toe-to-toe with the ‘Stone Pitbull’ on a WWE vs. NJPW/AEW Super-Show. Samoa Joe can match Ishii not only for in-ring presence but also for intensity. A match between the pair would be stiff as hell and would feature brutal chops, great power moves, but also its surprising share of athleticism given the pair’s larger frames.

This match is a dream match that would be so stiff that even the fans in the front row would come away with red chests. I really hope we get to see this one day.
