10. Rob Gronkowski
Rob Gronkowski is a man with a personality bigger than life. That’s a fact. Vince McMahon says his characters should be ”dialled up to 11”, and that is sometimes hard to teach. Gronk has that naturally. He even has a history with WWE and the Andre the Giant Battle Royal itself. In 2017 when Mojo Rawley won the match, he had the help of his good friend Gronkowski.
With his announcement of his retirement coming less than two weeks from Wrestlemania, the rumblings about his next career move are beginning and WWE has come up in just about every other conversation. Lio Rush even mentioned his name on this week’s Raw. Of course, they were in Boston and anytime a heel wants some quick heat, you mention their most recent sports team failures. However, this was a segment between Bobby Lashley and Finn Balor; it almost seemed that Lio shoehorned that statement in a bit awkwardly in their exchange.
I’m not saying this is any type of given or sure thing, all I am saying is to keep your eyes out for the NFL star. If there is a Gronkowski sighting, do not be surprised to hear the announcement of “Rob Gronkowski, your Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal Winner”.
