7. Have More NXT UK Takeover Events
Whilst this list will focus more on NXT, the British iteration of WWE’s developmental brand also needs some tweaks.
To date, there has only been one NXT UK Takeover event in the eight months that NXT UK has aired TV episodes. Whilst an upcoming NXT Takeover: Cardiff show has been announced for late August, the brand certainly needs more special events for it to feel significant and on par with America’s NXT.
It is clear that WWE started NXT UK as a direct response to ITV’s World of Sport Wrestling, and NXT UK needs to have equal focus assigned to it as the normal NXT does, especially in its infancy.
More interesting storylines on NXT UK TV building up to an NXT UK Takeover event which would take place every three months would immediately make the brand feel more important, and is something Triple H and WWE needs to consider.
