10 Women Who Should Make A WWE Return

8. Melina

Melina wrestled for WWE between 2004-2011 and picked up three Women’s Championships and two Divas Championships during her seven-year stint with the company.

Despite WWE’s poor booking of women during her time working for Vince McMahon, Melina got over with her consistently impressive in-ring performances. She was agile and inventive in the ring, especially when it comes to her finishing moves. Melina is often overlooked in the conversation of ‘Best Female Wrestlers’, and this is likely because of the controversy that surrounded her WWE career.

Melina not only had the ability to go within the ring, but she was also a good-hand on the mic, and knew how to get the crowd invested in any segment she was involved in, more often than not resulting in her getting the crowd to boo her. Her entrance with the red carpet being rolled out was unforgettable, and it is clear that she definitely had an impact on the WWE during her run, something that can’t be said for many of the current women’s roster.

Bret Hart once labelled Melina was ”one of the best wrestlers in the world”, and we don’t disagree. Melina could, and should make a return to WWE, and at the age of 39, this could be a full-time run rather than simply sporadic appearances.
