3. Paul Heyman once had a physical altercation with a WWE writer (Something to Wrestle)
The advocate of Brock Lesnar is known for being outspoken, impassioned, and confrontational on-camera, and his off-screen self isn’t all that much different. Throughout his wrestling life, Heyman has ruffled feathers with his heat-seeking tendencies, costing himself work in WWE, WCW, and other territories that no longer felt like tolerating his caustic nature.
Bruce Prichard revealed on a recent Something to Wrestle that earlier this millennium, Heyman had gotten himself sent home for a minor tussle with fellow WWE scribe Brian Gewirtz. Heyman had advocated (pun not intended) for a young writer named Dominic, who suggested an angle involving female nudity that annoyed the other writers. When Heyman angrily took up for him, Gewirtz came back at the former promoter, and two ended up having what Prichard wrote off as a silly, nothing-happening pull-apart. It was enough, however, to get both men suspended for several weeks.
