5 Most Controversial Tattoos In Wrestling History

2. Batista

Batista’s iconic belly button tattoo. Certainly something special.

At one point, the tattoo almost outgrew The Animal’s popularity, becoming part of his logo, t-shirt design and even his entrance video.

In 2018, the era of the belly button tattoo ended, when Batista went for an even more controversial tattoo, covering the entire stomach.

1. Cody

During the AEW Revolution pay-per-view Cody suddenly appeared with new ink.

Cody never had a tattoo before getting the word ‘Dream’ written over his heart, to honour his late great father, the ‘American Dream’ Dusty Rhodes.

Now he went for a spot that you certainly have to get used to: his neck.

The brother of Dustin Rhodes decided to get the Nightmare Family logo on the right side of his neck.

Not only fans were baffled by the tattoo, Tony Khan voiced scepticism over Cody’s future roles in mainstream media, while his wife Brandi voiced her displeasure.
