WWE
There are a variety of tag teams in WWE that may be on their way to a split, with SummerSlam 2026 potentially the stage where these alliances ultimately collapse.
Considering the tag team division for both the men and women is needing a refresh, we could see some interesting storylines emerge after ‘The Biggest Party of the Summer.’
Here are six potential tag teams to split up at WWE SummerSlam 2026.
6. The Judgment Day

Dissension between Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez has been teased for much of 2026
The Judgment Day has probably undergone more changes and variations over the years than any other group in WWE.
More recently, Liv Morgan has taken on more of a leadership role in the faction following their betrayal of Finn Balor.
Since then, fans have seen Roxanne Perez showing her doubts, while Raquel Rodriguez has also had her issues with her best friend and stablemate.
After more than four years since the stable was first created, it might be the right time for Judgment Day to all go their separate ways at WWE SummerSlam 2026.
5. Damian Priest & R-Truth

Damian Priest and R-Truth won the WWE Tag Team Championships on the March 20, 2026 episode of SmackDown
In March, Damian Priest and R-Truth defeated The MFTs to win the WWE Tag Team Championships.
Since then, Truth and Priest have sat atop of the SmackDown tag team division and have had to deal with The MFTs taking aim at their gold.
During this feud, Priest did not see eye-to-eye with Truth when he attempted to build a friendship with Royce Keys.
As a result of this, we could see Priest and Truth on their way to a split that finally happens at WWE SummerSlam 2026 on August 1 or 2.
4. The Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax & Lash Legend)

Lash Legend and Nia Jax have been aligned together since November 2025
Back in November 2025, Lash Legend made the jump from NXT to the WWE main roster after over four years with the brand.
Immediately upon making her way to Friday Night SmackDown, Legend formed a partnership with Nia Jax called The Irresistible Forces.
It did not take Jax and Legend long before they captured the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.
After losing the gold at WWE WrestleMania 42, The Irresistible Forces might finally break up, so Jax and Legend can go their separate ways for singles success.
3. Paige & Brie Bella

Paige and Brie Bella are unbeaten in tag team competition since winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania 42 – winning six matches total ahead of the July 18 Saturday Night’s Main Event
At WrestleMania 42 Night One, Paige and Brie Bella defeated The Irresistible Forces, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria and Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.
Since then, Paige and Brie have proven themselves to be fighting champions and have turned back challenger after challenger in recent months.
At the July 18 WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Paige and Bella will defend the titles against Fatal Influence’s Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid.
If they lose the gold at SNME, it could lead to Paige or Brie turning on the other and bringing this partnership to an end at WWE SummerSlam 2026.
2. Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss

Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair held the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship for 100 days in 2025.
One of the longest tenured women’s tag teams on the WWE roster right now is the duo of Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.
Forming a tentative alliance in 2025, Flair and Bliss have grown into becoming best friends with one another who always have each other’s backs.
Recently, Flair has found herself in an intense rivalry with Jade Cargill, which has caused some minor issues with Bliss.
Seeing “The Queen” on her own to take care of Cargill, Bliss could snap and turn on Charlotte to cost her this eventual grudge match at the WWE SummerSlam 2026 premium live event.
1. The Vision

Bron Breakker has stepped in to team with Austin Theory in Logan Paul’s absence
Since forming as a faction in 2025, The Vision have been on a rollercoaster of ups and downs as of late.
2026 has already seen Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed and Logan Paul all miss time due to injuries from the group alone.
Despite recently winning the WWE World Tag Team Titles and adding Maxxine Dupri, WWE SummerSlam 2026 might see the end of The Vision.
Having Breakker, Paul, Theory and Dupri all go their separate ways might be the best way to salvage these stars from the damage that has been done being part of The Vision over the past year.
