Determining The ‘Four Pillars’ Of AEW’s Women’s Division AEW

When All Elite Wrestling began back in 2019, the company had created a diverse roster of stars, from veterans like Chris Jericho and Christopher Daniels, to major names like Kenny Omega and Jon Moxley, to exciting young stars from the independent scene.

Four names in particular stood out from the rest. MJF, Darby Allin, Jungle Boy and Sammy Guevara. These four young stars who were a part of AEW since day one became known as the company’s ‘Four Pillars’.

Four Pillars refers to the primary four young stars that AEW would look at as their ‘home grown’ stars. While they all did wrestle outside the company, AEW took them from relative obscurity, to the hypothetical top of AEW.

One area of AEW’s product that many fans see as lacking is the women’s division. AEW Women’s Champion appeared for a combined three minutes in front of a live crowd since she won the title prior to her defence against Nyla Rose at Battle of the Belts. Something needs to change in the division.

One way to strengthen the division as a whole is to pick out several names who you will be planning on building the division around for years to come, much as you did with the Four Pillars at the start of AEW’s lifespan.

So now, we will deep dive into the AEW women’s division, and pick out the names that AEW should make the ‘Four Pillars’ of their women’s division.
