Every WWE Elimination Chamber Match Ever RANKED

21. New Day vs. Prime Time Players vs. Lucha Dragons vs. The Ascension vs. Los Matadores vs. Cesaro & Tyson Kidd – Elimination Chamber 2015

The first tag team elimination chamber ever, this match was unspectacular, to say the least. The New Day were defending their tag team championships against five other teams and this was before they were over.

The Ascension and Los Matadores were never strongly pushed teams in WWE and they were simply placeholders in this match. Lucha Dragons failed to bring much to the match either and the most popular team at the time, Cesaro and Tyson Kidd, were eliminated before the final two. This was during WWE’s obsession with Titus O’Neil and so the less popular Prime Time Players were left to lose to the New Day.

The New Day would become one of the most popular acts in WWE soon after but at the time this match just failed to get off the ground.

20. Alexa Bliss vs. Sasha Banks vs. Bayley vs. Mickie James vs. Sonya Deville vs. Mandy Rose – Elimination Chamber 2018

The first time you try something it rarely comes out perfect. Considering most of the competitors in this match had never competed in a match even slightly resembling an Elimination Chamber, the match came out alright.

The decision to start the match with Sonya Deville was questionable considering workers like Sasha Banks and Mickie James were available. Mandy Rose did not add much to the match either but she was eliminated early. Following this, there was a strange sequence where Sasha Banks appeared to turn on Bayley and turn heel despite being one of the last two competitors with Alexa Bliss. The layout of the match was messy and if given another chance would likely have come out better.

However, hindsight is 20/20 and this match was a fine first impression but there is a lot of room for improvement this year.

19. CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. The Miz vs. R-Truth vs. Kofi Kingston – Elimination Chamber 2012

This was the first year that Chamber fatigue truly started to set in. The match that was meant to be brought out for necessary circumstances had become something you just had to get through before WrestleMania.

The line-up for this match was one of the weakest ever at the time, with only CM Punk and Chris Jericho being believable winners. There is little to report in this match and it might be the most average match on this list. The only notable thing that occurred in this match was that Chris Jericho was never really eliminated and was instead knocked out of the cage and taken to the back never to return.

CM Punk’s WWE Championship was memorable for many reasons but this match was certainly not one of them.
