Every WWE Elimination Chamber Match Ever RANKED

18. Bayley & Sasha Banks vs. Carmella & Naomi vs. Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville vs. Nia Jax & Tamina vs. Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan vs. Billie Kay & Peyton Royce – Elimination Chamber 2019

This match saw the crowning of the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. Bayley and Sasha Banks became the first team to hold this iteration of the titles when they won the second tag team Elimination Chamber match.

The match was an improvement over the first women’s Chamber match but on the whole, it was still a mess. Many of the participants were simply not at the level to carry a 33-minute match. Nia Jax, Billie Kay, Tamina, and Carmella spent long periods of time in the match and they brought the match down.

Bayley and Banks were the best workers in the match by far and unfortunately, they did not have much to work with. That being said, this match did feel important and it received a boost at the end with the result and promo that followed.

17. John Cena vs. Triple H vs. Sheamus vs. Randy Orton vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Ted Dibiase – Elimination Chamber 2010

Sheamus’ first WWE Championship reign came and went with little fanfare and this match was a suitable end to that reign.

Ted Dibiase’s sole appearance in a pay per view world title match saw him eliminate his Legacy leader Randy Orton. This was the main example of storytelling in this match as the rest of the match went by with little excitement. Kofi Kingston’s push from the end of 2009 had lost its steam by this point and Sheamus was eliminated before the final two. This left Triple H and John Cena to compete for the WWE Championship once again. Eventually, Cena would submit Triple H to the STF to win his eighth world championship.

The match is better remembered for what happened after as Mr. McMahon emerged to inform Cena that he must defend his newly won title against Batista immediately. Batista would nail Cena with a Batista Bomb and capture the WWE Championship leading to a match between the two at WrestleMania XXVI.

16. Daniel Bryan vs. Santino Marella vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Wade Barrett vs. Big Show vs. The Great Khali – Elimination Chamber 2012

The second of two Chamber matches in 2012, this match was average with a dash of silliness.

Daniel Bryan’s first run as a heel was phenomenal so it is a shame that his biggest defence of the World Heavyweight Championship came in this match. Big Show and The Great Khali did little in this match but were the first two eliminated, Cody Rhodes and Wade Barrett filled out the match with solid action, but the story of the match was that of Santino Marella. The career comedian found himself in the final two with champion Daniel Bryan. Marella used the Cobra for a nearfall on Bryan but Bryan managed to lock in the Yes Lock for the submission win.

If you like comedy in your deathly cage match then you might like this match but otherwise, this one can be avoided.

15. Triple H vs. Goldberg vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho vs. Randy Orton vs. Kevin Nash – SummerSlam 2003

2003 was the year that Triple H ran through all the WCW stars WWE could get their hands on. Following victories over Scott Steiner, Booker T and Kevin Nash, Triple H came time to SummerSlam to face Goldberg.

Only the second Chamber match ever, this match should have been a very simple affair. Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho and Randy Orton worked to ensure the quality of the match was good and then Goldberg entered to wreak havoc. Steamrolling the field and winning the World Heavyweight Championship would have been a perfectly acceptable way for Goldberg to be portrayed at SummerSlam. Instead, Triple H eliminated Goldberg with help from Ric Flair because of course he did.

Goldberg would get his win a month later at Unforgiven but it would have meant more to get his big win in a big match at a big show. Oh well.
