The real reason for a WWE star’s major push on the show following WrestleMania 40 has now seemingly been revealed.
The Bloodline has undergone some major changes since WrestleMania 40, with Solo Sikoa now calling the shots in the absence of Roman Reigns following his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship defeat to Cody Rhodes.
In Roman’s absence, Tama Tonga has joined the group, with he and Solo causing mayhem on SmackDown in recent weeks.
Tanga Loa also joined the group at Backlash, and Jacob Fatu has also reportedly signed with the company and is set to join the Bloodline soon.
Per WrestleVotes, the reason for Solo Sikoa’s recent aggressive streak on SmackDown is a strategy to help establish him as the main force in the new Bloodline ahead of the debut of Jacob Fatu.
However, there is still some concern within creative that Fatu’s presence may overshadow Solo within the group following his debut.
They tweeted:
Interesting tidbit here: sources suggest that Solo Sikoa’s recent aggressive streak is part of a strategy to establish him as ‘the’ main force within this new phase of the Bloodline, ahead of Jacob Fatu’s debut.
However, some trepidation remains within creative over fear that Fatu’s presence could outshine Solo at this stage.
