Former TNA Tag Team Champions To Sign With WWE

With the Raw, SmackDown and NXT tag team divisions not exactly thriving in 2026, one way WWE can help turn things around is by bringing more teams into the fold.

Looking at the names potentially available to WWE, there are several former TNA World Tag Team Champions who could potentially join up with the company.

Here are three former TNA Wrestling Tag Team Champions to potentially sign with WWE.

The Hardy Boyz

Tied with Beer Money Inc. (Bobby Roode & James Storm) as the team with the most TNA World Tag Team Title wins, Matt and Jeff Hardy have a legacy that is unmatched by any active tag team in wrestling today.

While they have certainly carved out a legacy for themselves in TNA, The Hardys are still most often associated with WWE and the glory days of the Attitude Era. The Hardys, Dudley Boyz and Edge & Christian remain the gold standard of tag team wrestling 25 years on, and their matches in WWE in the early 2000s inspired countless teams that came after them.

The Hardys’ have undoubtedly earned a future spot in the WWE Hall of Fame, and the pair have not shied away from revealing that WWE is where they envision ending their careers.

While they did re-sign with TNA in late 2025, it feels like a return to WWE, and perhaps one final run, could be in their future.

Eric Young

The only TNA star to hold both the men’s World Tag Team and Knockouts Tag Team Titles, Eric Young is someone who may very well already be signed to WWE once again.

After exiting TNA on July 1, it was reported that Young was due to re-sign with WWE on a player/coach deal in NXT, however, this has yet to be confirmed by WWE or Young himself.

However, Young did appear as a coach during Lil Yachty’s pre-Sunday Night’s Main Event workout montage, so all signs point towards him being back in the company.

While he seems to mostly be set for behind the scenes work, Young could also appear on NXT and help get some of its rising talent prepared for their journeys ahead.

The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows)

After being released by WWE back in February 2025, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows have been busy competing all over the world, most notably back in Japan for Pro Wrestling NOAH.

The Good Brothers have seemingly remained on good terms with WWE however, as they returned to TV for AJ Styles‘ appreciation night back in February, as well as the 2026 Hall of Fame, where they inducted ‘The Phenomenal One.’

While Styles is no longer on the roster, Gallows and Anderson could still offer a lot if they returned to WWE for a third time, whether on the main roster or in NXT.

With WWE already bringing back Baron Corbin and Big Cass in 2026, perhaps The Good Brothers could be next up?
