WWE
With Money in the Bank out of the way, and Oba Femi potentially turning his attention to Roman Reigns, it’s time for The Vision’s focus to shift towards defending their WWE World Tag Team Titles on Raw.
Austin Theory and Bron Breakker have held the belts for almost 100 days and have yet to defend them once; sadly, a familiar story with the World Tag Team Titles since they were introduced in 2024.
Whether it be new arrivals from NXT, new signees or two singles stars forming a new alliance, here are three new tag teams that could potentially become the new World Tag Team Champions.
Rey Mysterio & Dragon Lee
Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee have been closely aligned for the majority of the latter’s time in WWE, with Mysterio dubbing Lee the “future of lucha libre” in WWE.
In recent weeks we have seen this partnership re-emerge on TV, as both Lee and Mysterio contend with Big Cass, who has been out for blood since returning to the company in August.
This feud seems likely to keep the pair busy for the time being, but beyond that, they could potentially take their partnership to the next level by officially entering the chase for WWE World Tag Team Title gold.
There is a real dearth of tag teams on WWE main roster, and Raw especially needs some new babyface pairings to step up to the plate, such as Mysterio and Lee.
Hank & Tank
Another potential new babyface tag team addition to Raw would be NXT’s Hank & Tank.
“The Belly Boys” are veterans of NXT at this point, having spent over three years competing on the brand – a run that has included a reign as NXT Tag Team Champions.
While they have recently returned to TV for the 2026 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, Hank & Tank haven’t had a whole lot to do for much of this year and the time might be right for a change of scenery.
With the main roster needing new tag teams more than NXT right now, Hank & Tank should get the chance to prove themselves on Monday Night Raw.
Je’Von Evans & Oba Femi
Now, as mentioned in the intro, it appears as if Oba Femi is looking past The Vision and towards Roman Reigns after his most recent win over Bronson Reed at WWE Money in the Bank 2026.
However, with Reigns likely preoccupied with a potential match with Sami Zayn at WWE Crown Jewel, as well as the ongoing conflict between The Bloodline and 946, it doesn’t feel like the right time for “The Ruler” to step up to “The OTC.”
What might happen instead is Femi aligning with fellow Vision hater Je’Von Evans, in an attempt to dethrone Bron Breakker and Austin Theory as World Tag Team Champions.
“The Young OG” is sure to be out for revenge after what Breakker did to him at Money in the Bank, so this alliance would make sense on all levels.
