Next WWE star to join BirthRight on NXT: Three names that could be recruited after failing to convince Zilla Fatu

With Zilla Fatu firmly rejecting BirthRight’s advances regarding a place in their group on WWE NXT, it’s time for Lexis King and company to look elsewhere for new recruits.

Luckily for King, there are several multi-generational stars who could potentially be convinced to join and maybe even a new arrival that could join WWE in view of gaining a spot in the faction.

Here are three names to potentially join WWE NXT’s BirthRight faction next:

Brooks Jensen

Brooks Jensen in WWE NXT

Brooks Jensen has been primarily appearing on WWE Evolve in recent months

The son of early 2000s former WWE star Bull Buchanan, Brooks Jensen is among one on NXT’s most reliable hands when it comes to in-ring competition.

While he hasn’t appeared on WWE NXT TV in quite some time, he is used consistently in Evolve, dark matches, live events and even WWE Main Event.

Even though it can be considered a positive that Jensen is getting plenty of reps in the ring, it’s about time Shawn Michaels finds him a consistent place on his program once again, as he’s been lost in the shuffle since being kicked out of The Culling last year.

Although Bull Buchanan isn’t considered a WWE legend or anything, Brooks is still someone with wrestling in his blood and would make for a worthy addition to BirthRight.

Xia Brookside

TNA Wrestling's Xia Brookside

TNA star Xia Brookside was previously signed to WWE as part of the NXT UK roster

Reigning TNA Knockouts World Champion Xia Brookside is someone who has gone from strength to strength since being let go by WWE in 2022.

While the 27-year-old has now passed 100 days with TNA’s top women’s title, her contract is reportedly coming up at the end of this year.

If she doesn’t end up re-signing with TNA, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see WWE look to bring her back into the company on NXT.

With her father Robbie Brookside being a UK wrestling legend and a current WWE employee as a producer/trainer in NXT, Xia would make for another potential recruit into BirthRight. With William Regal and Fit Finlay occasionally sharing the screen alongside their sons Charlie Dempsey and Uriah Connors, we could see Brookside do the same if Xia was to join the group.

Aalyah Mysterio

Aalyah Gutierrez WWE Recruit

Aalyah Mysterio was announced as a new WWE PC recruit in September 2026.

It was confirmed in September that Aalyah Gutierrez, the daughter of Rey Mysterio and brother of Dominik Mysterio had signed a deal with WWE.

Aalyah’s journey in pro wrestling is only just beginning so there’s no telling when she will eventually make her debut in the company, and whether she will initially wrestle in NXT or do what Dominik did and bypass the brand in favor of an immediate start on the main roster.

Whatever happens everyone will be expecting Aalyah to debut as a babyface much like her brother did back in 2020, but it would be a neat twist if WWE took a different approach.

WWE could have Aalyah recruited to BirthRight, where she can look to pay homage to her father and family legacy, albeit in an underhanded manner very much not representative of what Rey Mysterio’s career has stood for.
