WWE may have squandered Solo Sikoa’s momentum as he reunites with The Bloodline for match against The 946

WWE might have missed its opportunity with Solo Sikoa as he’s now reunited with The Bloodline in the group’s feud against the 946.

A number of weeks ago, Royce Keys formed the 946 – named after the ZIP code for Oakland, California – with Bronco Nima, Lucien Price, and later addition Jaida Parker, who were all previously in a trio together in NXT known as Out The Mud or OTM.

The 946 have spent their time targeting The Bloodline, but also abducted former Bloodline member Solo Sikoa a couple of weeks ago.

Sikoa had been fighting against The Bloodline alongside LA Knight, which led to what looked like a promising singles run for Sikoa as fans were getting behind him and seeing a side of him that he’d never had the chance to show before.

The Bloodline, meanwhile, have been in a bizarre state of being neither babyfaces nor heels, as they’ve been feuding with babyfaces Sikoa and Knight, and then with heels in the 946.

The one thing fans have been pretty much begging to NOT have happen was for Sikoa to reunite with The Bloodline after all this time… and that’s exactly what WWE has done.

Next week on Raw, Sikoa will team up with the Usos against the 946 in what will be Keys, Nima and Price’s first match as a trio and their first outing since forming the group.

One way it might work

There is one way this works, and that’s if Solo Sikoa is used as the catalyst to put an end to this Bloodline in-between nonsense to instead establish them as full on babyfaces once again.

In order to do that, Sikoa must be presented in a position of prominence in the group, not the position he was in when he was the silent member of the group a few years back.

With Roman Reigns, the Usos and Jacob Fatu now on the team, Sikoa could easily find himself back in background – which is why fans have been so against this happening to begin with.

But, if WWE goes in the direction of Reigns allowing Sikoa to be the ‘leader’ in his absence, looking at Sikoa’s rise and praising him for the work he’s done as of late, there’s a CHANCE it could end up being a success.
