With Nick Aldis serving as the WWE SmackDown General Manager since his on-screen debut, he has yet to compete in a match for the company.
Having his own successful career in TNA Wrestling, the NWA and notable performances in various independent promotions, Nick Aldis could certainly find his way into WWE in-ring action sometime soon.
Here are five potential WWE in-ring debut plans for Nick Aldis.
5. Costing Drew McIntyre The Undisputed WWE Championship

With the authority figure role that Nick Aldis has played on WWE SmackDown thus far in his tenure in the company, he has bumped heads occasionally with talent.
One massive name that he could end up scrapping with is Drew McIntyre, particularly if Aldis ends up having a heavy hand in McIntyre losing the Undisputed WWE Championship.
With McIntyre notably having a disdain for any attempts at controlling his free will, his status as champion hasn’t stopped him from continuing to push boundaries.
With clear disdain between them, it could create an entertaining dynamic moving into WrestleMania 42 that could culminate with Aldis costing McIntyre the title and eventually a match between the two.
