WWE star Ethan Page has shared what he believes is a life-saving message ahead of challenging for Penta’s Intercontinental Championship.
After being pinned by the recent NXT call-up on the May 4 Raw episode, Penta will defend the Intercontinental Championship against Ethan Page at the May 23 Saturday Night’s Main Event special.
Speaking with Complex Sports, Ethan Page explained why he believes the world should be afraid, rather than living with “cero miedo” as Penta suggests.
Believing Penta should be worried ahead of Saturday Night’s Main Event, Page said:
“I have kids. I’m not telling them ‘Leave the house and don’t have any fear.’ No, I’m telling them ‘The world is a scary place, and you have to keep your head on a swivel, and that’s how you survive.’
“You’ve got guys like me, Ethan Page, who will do literally anything and everything to get ahead, and you’ve got dummy numbnuts over here telling the entire world, while hiding who he is, cero miedo.
“This guy is influencing an entire nation that he’s not from – I’m am, the greatest North American. Are you kidding me, zero fear? Mucho miedo. The entire world should listen to me. Mucho miedo, that’s how you will survive.
“Trust me, there are people like me in the world, be worried, be afraid. Penta too, Penta should be worried.
“Saturday Night’s Main Event, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Ethan Page becomes Intercontinental Champion and then tells the world to be afraid, and I hope you listen. I hope the gold around my waist gives my voice the weight it deserves to save lives.”

Ethan Page is one of several recent NXT call-ups to be in the picture for a main roster championship, with Sol Ruca finding herself feuding with Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch, and Trick Williams winning the US Title at WrestleMania 42.
Between these pushes, and Oba Femi putting away Brock Lesnar, it’s clear that WWE is attempting to establish a bunch of new stars.
If Page is victorious on May 23, he will have an even larger platform to showcase his skills. Following his lengthy NXT North American Title reign and NXT Championship stint, it’s clear the company trusts him, we’ll have to wait and see if Page wins the IC Title with his first shot at the gold.
