Road to Redemption – 5 small changes that would make a big difference

2 – Give talent more freedom.

There have been clear signs that Impact is more open to talent sharing relationships than they have been in the past. During an interview with Oli over on the WrestleTalk Youtube channel, Don Callis even brought it up himself as an important part of the future of Impact Wrestling.

Talent sharing is a case of give and take. Impact has had a great working relationship with Lucha Underground, with many crossover stars including Johnny Mundo/Impact, Taya Valkyrie, and the latest stars to make the crossover, Rey Fenix, and Pentagon Jr.

Outside of the Impact and Lucha Underground relationship, we’ve seen the first signs of major crossover with the Impact World Champion Austin Aries making an appearance at Ring of Honor. It would be great to see more of this, as it could help make some of the Impact talent become bigger global stars – and potentially fix the recent hole in the roster.

1 – Continue to dcross-promotionalal shows.

As with the last point, Impact have shown themselves to have a great relationship with Lucha Underground. Their recent joint live show, Impact vs Lucha Underground, was a massive success – and honestly, we need to see more.

Outside of the Lucha Underground cross promotional shows, it would be fantastic to see shows with Ring of HonorNJPW, and Evolve just to name a few. This goes hand-in-hand with allowing their talent more freedom outside of the company, but more than this it creates global interpromotional ties that can help these businesses come to matching what the WWE do in terms of live events around the world.

What did you think of our list? What little things do you think Impact can do, to make a big change?
