Following WWE WrestleMania 42, Roman Reigns is now back on top of the company as the current World Heavyweight Champion on Monday Night Raw.

With an appearance scheduled for the June 15 edition of WWE Raw, it should be interesting what stories can be told with Reigns heading into SummerSlam 2026.

From the King of the Ring to The Bloodline drama, “The OTC” could find himself heavily in the mix on the company’s programming as the hype for SummerSlam heats up.

Here are seven potential Roman Reigns WWE plans before SummerSlam 2026.

7. Announcing Jacob Fatu As The Tribal Heir

At WWE Clash In Italy 2026, Roman Reigns defeated Jacob Fatu in a Tribal Combat Match to retain the World Heavyweight Championship.

Thanks to this win, Fatu now has been forced to acknowledge Reigns as his “Tribal Chief” and join The Bloodline.

Despite being the newest member of the stable, it seems like Reigns realizes the threat that Fatu can be against The Bloodline and wants to bring the family closer.

Reigns announcing Fatu as the new “Tribal Heir” could help to forge the bond to “The Samoan Werewolf” and further tell the story of his inclusion into the long history of The Bloodline in WWE.

6. Bringing More Gold To The Bloodline

Roman Reigns has shown in the past and since their recent reunion that he wants The Bloodline to have plenty of gold around their waists.

With the King of the Ring tournament underway, Reigns put Jey Uso on the mission to win the crown and beat Cody Rhodes to capture the Undisputed WWE Championship at SummerSlam 2026.

Now with Jimmy Uso and Jacob Fatu a part of the faction, “The OTC” could send his family on the mission to bring gold to The Bloodline.

Having the goal of every member of The Bloodline to have a championship by the end of SummerSlam 2026 would be intriguing to watch unfold over the weeks heading into Minneapolis.

5. Being Ringside For King of the Ring Finals At Night of Champions 2026

A lot of focus has been put on the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments as of late considering the winners will get a shot at a world title at WWE SummerSlam 2026.

With the finals of the King of the Ring set to take place at WWE Night of Champions 2026, Roman Reigns might decide that he needs to be right there to see who wins.

Reigns sitting at ringside for the finals would put further attention on this important bout and start the story of the rivalry that will headline SummerSlam this year.

Knowing his memorable facial expressions throughout his career, Reigns watching and reacting to the moments in this bout would be worth the price of admission as well regardless of who is battling for the crown.

4. Rekindling Rivalry With Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins made it perfectly clear that he wanted to set his sights on regaining the World Heavyweight Championship after his recent win over Bron Breakker.

While The Vision seems to still be in the present for him, Rollins did not show respect to Roman Reigns and brought up his past with “The OTC.”

After various teases since his return at the start of 2026, Rollins could be set to feud with his Shield brethren once again.

The rekindling of this long and storied rivalry has all the makings of the headliner for this year’s SummerSlam 2026 premium live event on August 1 and 2.

3. Address His Issues With Cody Rhodes

After his win over Jacob Fatu in Tribal Combat at WWE Clash In Italy 2026, Roman Reigns called out Cody Rhodes by saying “QB1” and proclaiming no one is doing it like him right now.

This led to Rhodes addressing these comments and his history with Reigns on the Clash In Italy post-show.

Then in a digital exclusive, Reigns and Rhodes went face-to-face backstage after Clash In Italy 2026, teasing a future showdown between the two men.

Reigns addressing Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes could further progress this story as Crown Jewel 2026 might be headlined by these longtime rivals having a rubber match.

2. Going To War With The MFTs Again

Immediately after he scored the win on Jacob Fatu at WWE Clash In Italy 2026, Solo Sikoa and The MFTs showed up in the crowd to watch the aftermath.

On the June 12 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Reigns sent Jacob Fatu to give Solo a message to “come home to the family.”

Sikoa was adamant that he had no interest in a reunion with Reigns and The Bloodline after seeing them embarrass Fatu.

This might be the calm before another storm with The Bloodline going to war with The MFTs in a battle of family supremacy in the near future.

1. Convincing Solo Sikoa To Merge The MFTs With The Bloodline

As previously mentioned, Roman Reigns has sent a message to Solo Sikoa that he wants him to come home to The Bloodline.

Since leaving The Bloodline behind him, Sikoa has created his own faction, The MFTs, alongside Tama and Talla Tonga.

Reigns is looking to reunite his family under him as the World Heavyweight Champion and “Head of the Table.”

Whether it be through Tribal Combat between the cousins or pitting Jacob Fatu against his former leader, there are some ways that Reigns can convince Solo to merge The MFTs with The Bloodline.
