Rusev
If anyone needs a fresh start, it’s Rusev.
The most over man on the roster is also the worst booked man on the roster.
It’s very rare that you get someone as gifted in the ring, as physically impressive and as good on the mic as Rusev, and so when you see him being continually buried, it’s completely baffling.
Although I am skeptical that WWE will actually use him properly, a move to Raw could revitalize Rusev. I mean, the Raw crowd chant for him even when he’s not there, so it’s not hard to imagine that he would get a huge babyface pop if he arrived.
He clearly isn’t seen as a main event talent, but inserting him into the mid-card title feud with someone that isn’t Jinder Mahal will make a world of difference.
My ideal scenario would be Raw starting, all the lights going down and Aiden English’s cough breaks the silence. Unfortunately, my ideals and what actually happens are usually about as close as Kurt Angle and his real life son, Jason Jordan.
