Christian Cage, Nick Wayne & Luchasaurus vs Sting, Darby Allin & Adam Copeland

As awesome as it’s been seeing Adam Copeland and Christian Cage share a screen once again in AEW, I think many expected a bit more of a build up to the eventual physical confrontation.

Copeland was adamant for just a few short weeks that he would not under any circumstances face Cage inside an AEW ring, then all of a sudden the next week he’s landing a spear on his BFF after the slightest push to do so from Sting.

Gripes aside, it will still be pretty surreal seeing Copeland & Cage throw hands in a match for the first time in decades.

As for who comes out on top… Well, Sting is involved and Sting likely isn’t losing until his retirement match at Revolution.

Tony Khan will also undoubtedly wanna keep Copeland’s momentum going towards an eventual one on one TNT Championship match with Cage, perhaps at World’s End.
