Surprises on WWE Raw: Three big shake-ups we could see after Money in the Bank 2026

Tonight’s post-Money in the Bank episode of WWE Raw will emanate from Bossier City, Louisiana, and fans will be expecting plenty of fallout from what happened in New Orleans.

With WWE facing some criticism for their decision-making at Saturday’s event, they should be looking to make a big statement and provide fans with plenty to excited about with this week’s shows.

Here are three potential surprises for the October 12 WWE Raw:

Roxanne Perez steps out of Liv Morgan’s shadow to challenge her for Women’s World Championship

Perhaps the biggest disappointment of the night for many in the WWE audience was Roxanne Perez’s failure to win the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.

“The Prodigy” was heavily favored going into Saturday’s event, but WWE instead went with Tiffany Stratton, someone who only won the briefcase two years ago, and after successfully cashing-in in January 2025 she then held the WWE Women’s Title for over 300 days.

While a Stratton cash-in sets her up for a betrayal of Chelsea Green that everyone (except Chelsea) can see from a mile away, Perez could have potentially got the ball rolling on a split of the entire Judgment Day had she won Money in the Bank.

With it being clear that fans are keen to see Perez step out of Liv Morgan’s shadow, we should see her make a big statement on tonight’s Raw by not celebrating Morgan’s Women’s World Title win. Or, if WWE really want to get the ball rolling, she could step up to challenge Morgan for the Women’s World Title, either by winning a number one contender match or challenging her Judgment Day stablemate outright.

Tiffany Stratton keeps her word and cashes in on Liv Morgan’s WWE Women’s World Title

As mentioned, Tiffany Stratton’s Money in the Bank plans have been telegraphed for a while now, with the expectation being that she will stab Chelsea Green in the back in the near future.

While it wouldn’t do a whole lot for injecting long-term excitement into Raw Women’s World Title division, WWE could subvert expectations by having Stratton actually keep her promise to Green by jumping to Raw and cashing in on Morgan.

It would provide a nice big pop and actually be quite refreshing to see things go in an unexpected direction, however, Tiffany as a babyface world champion on Raw would certainly be a questionable decision given how stale her character has gotten.

LA Knight snaps after another failed WWE World Title pursuit, helps 946 defeat The Bloodline

Money in the Bank saw LA Knight once again fall short in his never-ending quest to become a world champion in WWE.

“The Megastar” has proven throughout his WWE career to have the ability to bounce back every time things don’t go his way, but this time feels a little different.

With Roman Reigns and Oba Femi the clear and obvious route forward for WrestleMania 43, there’s simply no room for him in the very upper echelons of Raw. However, that doesn’t mean he has to take that lying down.

Knight should be looking to show some bite by making a statement tonight on Raw, and that could mean him interjecting himself into The Bloodline vs. 946 conflict. With Knight’s friend Solo Sikoa going back on his word to realign with his family, he has extra motivation to cost The Bloodline their match with 946; choosing Royce Keys’ side in the war of the two factions.
