Ten Best Elimination Chamber Pay Per View Matches

7. Jack Swagger vs. Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Kane vs. Mark Henry – Elimination Chamber 2013

Remaining in 2013 for one more entry, the Elimination Chamber match was the highlight from the pay per view. The Chamber included six former world champions fighting for a shot at Alberto Del Rio at WrestleMania 29.

Although the choice to have Jack Swagger win over the other competitors was a strange one, the work in the match was quite good. Chris Jericho remained one of the business’ top workers while stars like Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan helped make the match stand out. This is another Chamber match that has been forgotten to history, likely because of how forgettable the build to WrestleMania 29 was as a whole.

6. Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins – Elimination Chamber 2015

Seth Rollins was the first member of The Shield to reach the top of the WWE mountain. He won the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 31 and his first rivalry for the title was with former partner Dean Ambrose.

Their first singles match for the title was at Elimination Chamber 2015. Many thought Ambrose had no shot at dethroning Rollins as champion and technically they would be right, but that didn’t stop WWE from teasing Ambrose winning the title in a big way. They did the classic Dusty finish where the babyface wins but the decision is reversed as Ambrose beat Rollins to win the title but the referee reversed the decision.

It was a super match and it elevated Ambrose to true main event status. It may have taken him another year but eventually, he would defeat Rollins to win the WWE Championship.

5. Edge vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Big Show vs. Kane vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Wade Barrett – Elimination Chamber 2011

This match does not get enough credit for being one of the best Elimination Chamber matches ever. Edge and Rey Mysterio started the match as the first two and lasted until the end as the final two. In the middle, they fought off all four other challengers.

Kane, Big Show, Drew McIntyre, and Wade Barrett all tried to win the World Heavyweight Championship to no avail. Mysterio and Edge put on an incredible performance as the former partners beat the hell out of each other. Edge ended up getting the win with one of his best Spears but not before wrestling a fantastic match.

4. Bray Wyatt vs. AJ Styles vs. John Cena vs. The Miz vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Baron Corbin – Elimination Chamber 2017

After the event took a hiatus in 2016, Elimination Chamber returned as a SmackDown pay per view in 2017. The only Chamber match on the show involved the top stars of the blue brand fighting for the WWE Championship, held by John Cena. Cena had only won the title two weeks earlier so it was a shock when he was eliminated before the final two.

AJ Styles and Bray Wyatt competed over the title as the last two participants but it was Wyatt who would walk away victorious. This was his first WWE Championship and what a match to win it in. Once some of the early shenanigans were out of the way, Wyatt, Cena, and Styles put this match on another level. It was fantastic and the only highlight on an otherwise lackluster pay per view.
