John Cena Details Spinal Condition He’s Dealt With Throughout WWE Career WWE

Former 16-time WWE World Champion John Cena has detailed the spinal condition he’s dealt with throughout his career.

At WWE WrestleMania 40 Night Two, Cody Rhodes defeated Roman Reigns to win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in the main event.

To get the win, Cody needed a little help from Jey Uso, John Cena and The Undertaker to counteract The Bloodline’s interference.

Guest appearing on the Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard, John Cena revealed that he has lordosis, which is an excessively curved spine in your neck or lower back. He said:

“I still don’t have a good grasp on knowing my own capabilities (in the ring). Like, always knowing my line and just towing it and trying to push it.”

“Not saying, oh, I’m going to the top rope to do a backflip. I have lordosis so it’s uncomfortable to go ass over teakettle… It’s opposite of scoliosis.”

“Over the years, it’s gotten better, but 20s, I was like, big booty out all the time. It’s like sticking your butt out.”

John Cena also made a surprise appearance on the Raw After WrestleMania 40, teaming with Raw Tag Team Champions Awesome Truth to defeat The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh.
