On the September 12 WWE live event from Santiago, Chile, Stephanie Vaquer defeated Liv Morgan to win the WWE Women’s World Championship.
This ended Morgan’s second reign with the title after a 147-day run that started at WrestleMania 42.
Coming off this controversial loss, it will be interesting to see what Morgan does next.
Here are five things that could be next for Liv Morgan after losing the WWE Women’s World Championship.
5. WWE Women’s World Championship Rematch with Stephanie Vaquer

At WrestleMania 42 Night One, Liv Morgan defeated Stephanie Vaquer to win the WWE Women’s World Championship.
Following Mania, “La Primera” took some time off to recover from lingering injuries after an attack from The Judgment Day.
After making her return following SummerSlam 2026, Vaquer immediately targeted Morgan again.
Now that Vaquer has taken the title back, this should lead to a rematch for Morgan in the near future.
4. Entering the Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match
After losing the WWE Women’s World Championship at a house show, Liv Morgan might not want to wait long before going after the title again.
While she could get a rematch, Morgan could want the element of surprise.
On October 10, WWE will present their Money In The Bank premium live event from New Orleans.
Liv Morgan entering the Women’s MITB would make her a favorite to win the contract and potentially regain the WWE Women’s World Championship before long.
3. Turning on The Judgment Day

Liv Morgan lost the WWE Women’s World Championship with no one from The Judgment Day at ringside.
While she might need the group to get the job done, Morgan could be completely irate about her loss.
Liv snapping on The Judgment Day would be an intriguing direction to go for her character.
Turning on The Judgment Day, Morgan could start to stand on her own again or alienate her stablemates in a fresh storyline for the faction.
2. Leaving WWE Raw to move to SmackDown
Liv Morgan has been part of the Monday Night Raw roster for the past three years.
Alongside The Judgment Day, Morgan has become one of the faces of the red brand.
After losing the WWE Women’s World Championship, it might be time for Liv to get a change of scenery.
Liv Morgan moving from Raw to SmackDown could see her go after Chelsea Green’s WWE Women’s Championship to rebound from her recent loss.
1. Revenge on Becky Lynch

During her WWE Women’s World Championship loss to Stephanie Vaquer at the September 12 live event from Santiago, Chile, Liv Morgan had her victory snatched away by special guest referee Becky Lynch.
Since returning after SummerSlam 2026, Lynch has made Morgan her number one focus.
Wanting to see Liv lose the gold by any means necessary, Lynch has let it be known that it did not matter if it was her or not. “The Man” rather see anyone but Morgan with the gold.
After making that a reality, Liv Morgan should target Becky Lynch for revenge in a major way.
