First Trailer For New Movie Starring WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan

The first trailer for a major movie starring WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan has been released, ahead of its premiere later this year.

Fans will soon be able to see Liv Morgan on the big screen, with the current champion to appear in “Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo”

Liv Morgan was absent from WWE TV in May 2025 while filming for this movie in what has been teased to be a significant role.

With the role previously described as one which could cement her as the next “it girl” in Hollywood, we now have our first look at Morgan in the role courtesy of a new trailer.

The trailer – which you can view at the bottom of this news story or right here –  features several shots of the WWE star, who is credited under her ring name “Liv Morgan”.

Liv Morgan is one of the three actors named in the trailer, alongside Lily James and Shun Oguri.

Previously said to be hitting theaters in September, Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo has been officially selected for the Toronto Film Festival scheduled for that month.

Per NEON’s synopsis, Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo follows a disgraced Tokyo detective who “spirals into a world of corruption, addiction, and violence as he becomes entangled in a twister investigation involving a vengeful ex-Yakuza, an enigmatic FBI agent, and a missing daughter of a powerful American family.”

Following the release of the official teaser trailer, Morgan took to Instagram to write:

Liv Morgan recently commented on the possibility of a full-time move to acting, noting that she feels she’s a pro-wrestling lifer, and will wrestle “until the wheels fall off”.
