A WWE star has addressed the future of their partnership with the newly crowned Interim Women’s Champion, Chelsea Green.
WWE SummerSlam saw Chelsea Green declared the Interim Women’s Champion, with the star dedicating the victory to Michael Hayes, following past comments from the higher-up.
Speaking to the Battleground Podcast, Ethan Page addressed the future of his partnership with Green, which saw the pair as AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champions.
Reflecting on the “incredible talent” that is Chelsea Green, Page would hint that they could probably reunite in AAA in the future, though didn’t rule out a main roster team-up, saying:
“Oh my gosh. Never say never. Chelsea is an incredible talent… If we were a tag team, would she be in that match? (the Interim WWE Title ladder match) Possibly not. So I wish her well.
“Both of us have stepped away from AAA for now. But I found a new home in Mexico; I found a new lifetime tag team partner in Chelsea. I could definitely see us going back to Mexico, or teaming up here on Raw or SmackDown. We’ve already done it on NXT, very successfully, so anytime Chelsea wants to team up, I’m in.”

With La Hiedra replacing Chelsea Green on the February 7 episode of AAA, Lola Vice & Mr. Iguana would defeat the team in order to become World Mixed Tag Team Champions.
On The Same Page
First teaming together at NXT Heatwave in August 2025, Chelsea Green would describe her partnership with Ethan Page as “perfect“, with it carrying over to a run in AAA.
Page would be equally effusive when it comes to Green, stating that working with her is “truly magical” in comments made earlier this year.
Initially separated by brand, with Page on NXT and Green on the main roster, they remain divided on Raw and SmackDown, respectively. That said, if there’s a star who will find a way to get them back on the same page, it’s Chelsea Green, a talent who has shown that she wants to work wherever the opportunity arises.
During the SummerSlam Night One press conference, Triple H indicated that getting over with the fans can lead to stars taking the much-coveted top spots. If there’s an example of this, it’s likely Chelsea Green holding one of the two women’s world championships, even in its ‘Interim’ capacity.
A regular fixture on television and on the WWE Live house show run, it’s unlikely Green will be any less prominent going forth, giving her more opportunity to win over the fans to an even greater degree.
