At WWE SummerSlam 2026 Sunday, fans saw three different title changes that may just alter the landscapes of both Raw and SmackDown moving forward.

On Raw, Chad Gable captured the Intercontinental Championship in a win over Penta, while on SmackDown, Baron Corbin dethroned Trick Williams for the United States gold and Chelsea Green finally won the Interim WWE Women’s Championship.

Despite these title switches, there could be any number of future championships changing hands before the year is out.

Here are seven potential WWE title changes coming soon.

7. Jade Cargill Dethrones Tiffany Stratton To Win The Women’s United States Championship

At WWE Night of Champions 2026, Tiffany Stratton defeated Jade Cargill to retain the WWE Women’s United States Championship thanks to outside interference from Charlotte Flair who fought off MIchin and B-Fab.

While she lost this bout, Cargill has still been dealing with Stratton and seems to be a future contender for the gold.

Over the past two years, Cargill and Stratton have been going back and forth in a rivalry that has seen the two trade championship gold and take each other to the limit.

After failing to win the Interim WWE Women’s Championship, Cargill might retarget the Women’s US Title and Tiffany Stratton instead.

6. The MFTs Defeat R-Truth & Damian Priest To Win The WWE Tag Team Championship

Following WWE Clash In Italy 2026, Solo Sikoa found himself back embroiled in The Bloodline drama once again.

This led to Sikoa accidentally costing Tama and Talla Tonga their WWE Tag Team Championship bout against Damian Priest and R-Truth.

Because of this reason, The Tongans decided to walk away from Sikoa after being paired with him over the past two years.

Now receiving the guidance of their father, the legendary Haku, The MFTs could be the ones to dethrone Priest and Truth, bringing the gold back to the family.

5. Trick Williams Regains The WWE United States Championship From Baron Corbin

At WWE SummerSlam 2026 Sunday, Baron Corbin defeated Trick Williams to win the United States Championship.

After returning to the company on the July 10 SmackDown, Corbin seems focused to make up for lost time that wasn’t under his control.

Despite this reign just starting at SummerSlam, it doesn’t seem like this is a long reign for Corbin moving forward.

Trick Williams regaining the US Title would be fitting and help to complete his story with Corbin by having the veteran put over one of the fastest rising stars in WWE..

4. Chelsea Green Beats Rhea Ripley To Become Undisputed WWE Women’s Champion

After long being one of WWE’ most underrated talents, Chelsea Green finally won the big one when she defeated Tiffany Stratton, Lash Legend, Jade Cargill and Charlotte Flair to win the Interim WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam 2026.

This bout was announced following the knee injury that WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley suffered in June.

Green has soared in popularity over the past few months after turning babyface with her current friendship with Stratton on SmackDown.

Being the star on the rise right now, it would make sense for WWE to go with the hot hand in Chelsea Green to pull off the upset win over Rhea Ripley when their title unification match takes place.

3. Stephanie Vaquer Regains The Women’s World Championship From Liv Morgan

Stephanie Vaquer was one of WWE’s big breakout stars of 2025 after being called up to the main roster to win championship gold at almost every turn.

At WWE WrestleMania 42 night ine, Vaquer lost the WWE Women’s World Championship to Liv Morgan.

Since this loss, ‘La Primera’ has been off of television due to an AC joint sprain in her shoulder that has placed her on the shelf.

Seemingly not far away from a return, Vaquer could face Morgan in a rematch and win the title back to become a two-time Women’s World Champion

2. Kevin Owens Becomes Undisputed WWE Champion For The First Time Against CM Punk

After over 17 months away from the company, Kevin Owens made his return to WWE for the first time since undergoing neck fusion surgery at SummerSlam 2026.

At ‘The Biggest Party of the Summer,’ Owens defeated Sami Zayn, GUNTHER and Finn Balor to become the new number one contender for the Undisputed WWE Championship.

Now that he is set to challenge for the gold, it sets up a tantalizing dream match between Owens and the current champion CM Punk.

While his reign has just begun, Punk might meet his match and someone that he cannot overcome in KO when this title clash takes place.

1. Oba Femi Finally Beats Roman Reigns To Win The World Heavyweight Championship

At WWE SummerSlam 2026 night one, Oba Femi defeated Brock Lesnar inside Hell In A Cell to put their rivalry to bed.

Meanwhile, Roman Reigns defeated Seth Rollins to retain the World Heavyweight Championship on SummerSlam Sunday.

Back at WWE Night of Champions, Femi defeated Reigns’ Bloodline stablemate and cousin Jey Uso to win the King of the Ring final.

Despite postponing his title opportunity that was owed at SummerSlam, it might just be a matter of time before Femi defeats Reigns to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
