WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan has addressed her Hollywood career, and if she plans to act full-time.

Morgan was notably absent from WWE TV in May 2025 to film for her role in Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo, which releases later this year.

With Morgan’s role previously described as one which could cement her as the next “it girl” in Hollywood, Liv Morgan has commented on the possibility of her pursuing an acting career away from WWE.

During a recent interview, Gino Salomone of watchginotv told Morgan that he believes there’s a bright career for her in acting after wrestling.

Calling herself a pro-wrestling “lifer”, Liv Morgan responded:

“I’m wrestling until the wheels fall off, I don’t know how long that takes me, but I’m a lifer.

“Yes I’m very interested in acting and WWE has been so gracious in letting me explore that and spread my wings a little bit.

“We have a movie coming out this fall, Bad Lieutenant, so keep an eye out for it, but thank you so much for saying that. We’ll see what happens, I guess.”

A number of wrestlers went on to become Hollywood stars at the tail-ends of their WWE careers, with the likes of The Rock, Dave Bautista and John Cena becoming well-respected actors.

Liv Morgan seems poised for a similar level of stardom which WWE appears to welcome, allowing her to film this major movie role, and giving her creative freedom for her music video for “Trouble”, her new entrance theme which she performed herself.

Despite her music video amassing millions of views, Morgan stated that she’s “probably done” making music, and that she just wanted new entrance music.

It’s quite refreshing to see a WWE star push to remain a full-time wrestler, when other arguably more mainstream avenues are available to them.

Liv Morgan currently holds the WWE Women’s World Championship, which she won from Stephanie Vaquer at WrestleMania 42.
