WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan has commented on the creative freedom she was given when creating her Trouble music video.
In the lead-up to WrestleMania 42, WWE and Liv Morgan released the song Trouble, accompanied by a music video featuring the Royal Rumble winner.
Morgan performed the dance routine from the music video live during her entrance at the April 18 event, ahead of defeating Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Title.
Speaking with Headliner Chicago, Liv Morgan stated that WWE let her “have the ball” in terms of creative control for the music video.
Explaining how Trouble came to be, Morgan said:
“I loved it so much. It was all unknown for me, singing and dancing, those are not things I’m trained in or things I typically do professionally. For fun, yes, but professionally, no.
“WWE presented me with such a unique opportunity to go to a studio and record this new song written specifically just for me. Then we loved the song so much that they were like ‘Do you want to shoot a music video?’ I was like ‘Yes, of course!’
“They really kind of let me have the ball and creatively direct this music video so it could be exactly what I had envisioned. I really appreciate that creative freedom that they gave me.
“And then to perform it live at WrestleMania with my iconic Britney Spears inspired entrance, It was just so much fun and all new opportunities. I’m just grateful to have been able to play and explore and learn new things that I like to do.”

Liv Morgan has tried her hand at a number of disciplines outside the ring over the past year, between creating her new entrance theme and starring in the Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo movie which is set to hit theaters in September.
Following the likes of The Rock, Dave Bautista and John Cena becoming household names following stints in Hollywood, we could see Liv Morgan become the next WWE star to achieve mainstream fame and success.
Morgan previously stated that she is “probably done” creating music, after creating her new entrance theme.
