2. Stomping Ground Tickets Still Available
Rumor: WWE had considered revamping the WWE Stomping Ground card to boost ticket sales.
Fact: WWE is having trouble selling tickets and lots of tickets are not sold as of today.
Opinion: When your biggest focus of a show has been who Baron Corbin will choose as the special guest referee and a feud between Shane McMahon and Roman Reigns where one of them isn’t even fighting, then why would fans be excited and want to pay as much as $500 for this show?
Almost every match on the card is a rematch of a match we’ve already seen on television in the last few months. Not to even mention, none of them were even particularly good the first time.
$200 to $300 for floor seats is incredibly expensive. It’s in line with what WWE charges for their shows, but this is as uninspired of a card as WWE has had in quite some time.
- Becky Lynch vs. Lacey Evans
- Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre
- Seth Rollins vs. Baron Corbin
- Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler
- Bayley vs. Alexa Bliss
All of these are rematches of matches we’ve seen. None of them got high reviews. Evidently, some were even considered just plain bad.
You’ve got Daniel Bryan from Washington featured in a tag-match destined for the pre-show. WWE should do something. C’Mon Vince McMahon, just do it better.
