5. A-Town Down Under VS. The Wolf Dogs – SmackDown Tag Team Championships

For the first time in almost two years the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Titles are separated. While not every fan would agree this is the best move, it’s difficult to disagree that WWE doesn’t currently have the depth to handle it.

Triple H has managed to elevate the importance of every single title in WWE since taking over creative, so it will be interesting to see how the two sets of titles get on in the new era.

Of the teams that could step up to new champs Waller & Theory, I believe that we won’t get an expected choice, or even one from SmackDown. Instead I see current NXT Tag Team Champions The Wolf Dogs (Baron Corbin & Bron Breakker) step up first.

And why’s that exactly? Well France notoriously loves them some Baron Corbin. For whatever reason Corbin has become about as close to a hometown favorite as WWE have other roster, and it’d be a real shame to pass up that up at Backlash.
