Daniel Bryan vs. Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas
What did we do to deserve this?! Not only was this week’s SmackDown Live above average (in my opinion) but we were also gifted with a match between Andrade ‘Cien’ Almas and Daniel Bryan. Someone, please tell me why this isn’t headlining pay-per-views for the WWE Championship yet?
The two men have incredible chemistry and are simply two of the best performers in the world today. It’s like Bryan went to Vince and said, “If you want me to re-sign with you, give me all the guys the real wrestling fans want to see at the top of the card.” To be honest, he probably did.
Almas about took the ‘American Dragon’s head clean off with his spinning fake-out elbow. Bryan saw the Tranquilo pose and decided to simply drop kick ‘El Idolo’ out of the ring. It was just great. Sure the Miz and Maryse got involved but they have a pay-per-view match to build to, you’ve got to let them have something.
