Buddy Murphy vs. Kalisto
I am very scared for Buddy Murphy’s neck. The way he spikes and the sheer amount he spikes is sickening. Great to watch but sickening all the same. That goes double when he does in twice in a row, literally. Please save your neck, Buddy! PLEASE!
Other than that – actually, including that – this match was amazing as per. It’s fascinating that two people of such contrasting size, background and style have so much chemistry between the ropes. Every time these two have linked up they have put on a barnstormer.
This was no different as the two took each other to the very limit in both fluent, creative wrestling ways and in that Buddy literally chucked Kalisto from the ring apron on to the commentator’s desk.
With the WWE Super Show-Down pay-per-view in Australia (Murphy’s home country) coming up, the right man won and earned himself another shot at Cedric Alexander’s WWE Cruiserweight Championship. As much as I love the current champ, I’m ready for the company’s ‘Best Kept Secret’ to stand atop the purple brand.
