This is the only other time on this list that we’ve got two people who were already on the same brand pre-draft as they are coming out of it.
With that said though, the idea of pitching these two as a proper tag team was just too good to pass up.
It keeps them doing something while they’re not yet needed in the Undisputed WWE Championship scene, you know they’re gonna be entertaining, and it means Orton can work tag matches that are less taxing on him than full singles matches – it just seems like a winner.
These two against A-Town Down Under sounds like a pretty great tag team championship feud.
